All dance parties
include basic dance activities such as Freeze Dance, Thread the Needle, The Name Game, The Limbo, Strut Your Stuff (aka Soul Train Line), and Follow the Leader (all of which will be presented in the theme of your choice; see below for dance themes) and usually finish with a short, choreographed combination taught to all the participants and then performed for the parents, family and friends in
attendance. Face-painting, make-up and/or hair streaks are also usually included following all the dance activities.
Dance parties are
fun for girls and boys ages 6 years and up and are appropriate for both
the novice and the experienced dancer.
